What is the aim of this course?

This course is for people who would like to strengthen their existing advocacy skills.
This course will allow you to refresh your knowledge on the functioning of the EU institutions and the legislative procedures.
It will introduce you to the key players and update you on what advocacy skills are required at EU level and will also reflect upon the interplay between national government and the EU.
It will address the importance of having a clear advocacy strategy and as critical skills for effective lobbying, the course will also offer sessions on oral and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
